Overland Airways to Begin Commercial Flights at Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport

Overland Airways will commence scheduled commercial flights from the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport (BAT) in Minna, Niger State, on April 23, 2025.

The airline will operate three weekly flights to Lagos and three weekly flights to Abuja.Minna-Lagos-Minna and Minna-Abuja-Minna.Three weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Friday.Embraer 175.Departing Lagos at 8:00 AM, returning from Minna at 3:00 PM.Departing Minna at 9:30 AM, returning from Abuja at 2:00 PM

Overland Airways, Nigeria’s longest-serving domestic airline, with a recent 5th consecutive IOSA safety certification.

The New Niger Aviation (NNA), a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), will manage the airport operations under the New Niger Development Project (NNDP).

The commencement of these flights is a key initiative of Governor Umaru Bago, aimed at boosting Niger State’s economic growth, development, trade, tourism, and attracting investment, aligning with global best practices.

 

Overland Airways is a registered charter and scheduled passenger/cargo airline, a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the African Airlines Association (AFRAA). This partnership emphasizes the airline’s safety record and established position within the African aviation industry.
