Gunmen abducts Ezenwanyi alongside other worshippers on their way to river for rituals
Some group of unknown gunmen suspected to be herdsman had on Wednesday, April 16 2025, kidnapped a priestess and three other worshippers at Ohebe Orba in Udenu local government area of Enugu State, while they were on their way to a river for rituals.

According to sources who confirmed the incident via the Facebook platform, he stated that the gunmen also abducted four other local farmers in the same village.
The kidnappers have contacted the families of the victims, initially demanding for a ransom of N50 million but later reduced it to N15 million.
