A mysterious fire has engulfed the former JFM building near Edewor Shopping Plaza in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.
FCNN gathered that there were growing fears that the fire, which has spread to the third floor, could extend to nearby structures.
All efforts by the Delta State Fire Service to quench the flames were unsuccessful as they ran out of water, leaving the fire to spread all over the building, which now houses Current FM.
The cause of the fire outbreak remains unknown at the time of this report.
However, Police officers have been deployed to the scene to maintain order and prevent looting by hoodlums as emergency services struggle to contain the fire.
