The deadline given by the NDLEA was as a result of a clash between its operatives and some youths of the community on Wednesday.
Fusion Chronicles gathered that the incident occurred while the operatives were trying to arrest some drug peddlers which led to vandalization of an operation vehicle of the agency in the process by some individuals suspected to be accomplices of the drug peddlers.
Daniel Obah, the NDLEA spokesperson in his statement further noted that four operatives of the agency were injured during the clash and two were still receiving treatment in a hospital.
“The youths of the community tried to resist the arrest, which led to the clash and vandalism of the operational vehicle.” Obah said.
