The German embassy in Abuja has revealed that Germany’s President, Dr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier, is expected to visit Nigeria on a three-day official visit.
The statement noted that he is expected to be in Nigeria between December 10 and 12.
The visit, it was noted, will be the third exchange between both countries on the level of head of state or government since President Bola Tinubu’s inauguration.
The German president will be accompanied to Nigeria by industries captains and other top ranking board members of most successful companies in the fields of IT, high tech and energy.
It was also reported that the German leader would visit President Tinubu, President of the Commission of Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), Dr. Alieu Omar Touray.
He is also expected to meet with Dr. Nike Okundaye of the Nike Art Gallery, and Nobel Laureate for Literature, Prof. Wole Soyinka, when in Lagos State.
