Salome: She is not my girlfriend, I only lied – Gospel Singer makes U-turn, pleads
Embattled Abuja based gospel singer Timilehin Ajayi who is currently in the detention of the Nasarawa state Police command for alleged murder of Salome Eleojo Adaidu a Youth corp member serving in Nicon Insurance.
It was gathered that Ajayi killed Eleojo in the Orozo district of Abuja and lied to the public and the police that she was his girlfriend and she was cheating on him. However in a twist of event he (Ajayi) has made a u-turn from his initial claims that she was his girlfriend stating that he never knew her that he only lied to the public to gain sympathy.
Ajayi while pleading with the deceased family to forgive him stated that Salome was never his girlfriend adding that he lied to save himself. According to Salome’s uncle (Name withheld) Ajayi broke his own head and was furiously bleeding but the police have however treated the wounds he sustained on his head while in custody.
FCNN recalled that on Sunday being the 12th of January 2025, it was reported that the Gospel singer beheaded Salome in his Orozo residence and further dismembered her body and was arrested while he was trying to dispose her head by worshipers and Okada riders.
Netizens have called for the prosecution of Ajayi as he was seen confessing to the crime in a viral video stating that his has no regrets killing her adding that she was his girlfriend for over year.
