Principal killed by unknown assailant in Abuja


Bala Tsoho Musa, the Principal of the Abuja Rehabilitation Centre, has been killed by an unknown assailant.
Musa, who was widely known as “Comrade,” was discovered lifeless within the centre located in Kuchiko, a community in the Bwari Area Council well of Abuja.
The center which was initially established by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), serves as a hub for skill acquisition training, for beggars and individuals detained for public nuisance offences.
Sources stated on Saturday that the deceased’s body was found alongside his wheelchair.
“A piece of wood, believed to have been used in the attack, was discovered at the scene, and two of his mobile phones were missing.” One source stated,
The source further explained that “No one from the deceased’s household noticed the incident immediately, possibly due to the noise from the power generator. It wasn’t until a deaf female assistant returning from the hostel raised an alarm that the incident was uncovered.”
CSP Babayola Muhammad, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Bwari, confirmed the incident when contacted.
