Niger Politician Leads Mass Defection of APC,PDP Members to SDP

A Niger State Politician, Umar Muhammad Bello Kuchi, has led a group of politicians from APC, PDP, and AA to defect to the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Niger State.

Kuchi announced his intention to contest for the Agaie/Lapai Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives under the SDP banner.

It was gathered that Kuchi criticized the APC government as “anti-people’s government,” citing corruption, mismanagement of public resources, and failure to address infrastructure challenges.

He promised to prioritize accountability, healthcare improvement, education revitalization, and road rehabilitation if elected.He however donated 2,000 SDP membership cards to encourage young voters to join the party.

Kuchi urged constituents to reject leaders who prioritize personal gain over public service and adopt the SDP’s “people-first” agenda.
