Tinubu appoints eight new perm secs

The President of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu on Monday appointed eight new permanent secretaries in the Federal Civil Service to fill the existing vacancies in some states and geopolitical zones.

Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, made this known in a statement which is titled ‘President Tinubu appoints eight new Permanent Secretaries’ Monday evening.

According to the statement, the eight new Permanent Secretaries are as follows:

1.⁠ ⁠Onwusoro Ihemelandu (Abia State)

2.⁠ ⁠Ndiomu Philip (Bayelsa State)

3.⁠ ⁠Anuma Nlia (Ebonyi State)

4.⁠ ⁠Ogbodo Nnam (Enugu State)

5.⁠ ⁠Kalba Usman (Gombe State)

6.⁠ ⁠Usman Aminu (Kebbi State)

7.⁠ ⁠Oyekunle Nwakuso (Rivers State)

8.⁠ ⁠Nadungu Gagare (Kaduna State)

Onanuga also noted it was the second set of eight permanent secretaries appointed by the president, following those appointed last June from Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi, Jigawa, Ondo, Zamfara, South East and South-South.

The President however, urged the new permanent secretaries to show greater commitment, diligence and innovation in serving the nation.
