Tinubu Celebrates Dame Fashola on Her 60th Birthday

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended heartfelt birthday wishes to Dame Emmanuella Abimbola Fashola, the former First Lady of Lagos State, as she celebrates her 60th birthday.
In a statement released on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu praised Dame Fashola’s unwavering dedication to public service, her management of educational initiatives, and her advocacy in health and socio-economic matters.
The President highlighted her pivotal role in enhancing awareness and spearheading campaigns focused on the health of women and children, describing her as a woman of compassion and purpose.
He also acknowledged her leadership as Chairperson of the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO), where she led initiatives that established recreation centers and facilitated screening and treatment for breast and cervical cancers.
“Dame Fashola places great importance on her family, viewing it as a foundation for growth and development.
Her marriage, built on religious coexistence—she, a devout Christian and her husband, a Muslim—serves as a powerful example of unity and understanding, which are essential for nation-building,” President Tinubu remarked.
