Tragedy in Anambra: Young Businessman Ifesinachi Onyekere Abducted and Killed

A tragic incident has rocked Anambra State following the abduction and killing of a young businessman, Ifesinachi Onyekere, popularly known as Fish Magnet.

FCNN learnt he was kidnapped late Saturday night in Okpuno, near the state capital, Awka. Onyekere, the son of Esther Chinyere Onyekesi, a notable APGA Women Leader, was reportedly targeted at his residence in Ezinifite Village.

According to eyewitnesses and reports from Zagazola Makama, the assailants stormed the premises around 10:30 p.m. in an ash-coloured Lexus SUV.

They forced their way into the compound, shot him in the leg, and abducted him using his own navy blue Toyota Corolla.

The kidnappers reportedly escaped through bush paths leading toward Nawfia, eluding security personnel in the area.

Details surrounding the circumstances of his death and the recovery of his body remain unclear, but the community is in deep mourning over the loss of a promising young man to violence.
