Police Launch Manhunt as Decomposing Bodies Found in Benin Apartment
The Edo State Police Command has launched a manhunt for a suspect, Wealth Nnamdi, who allegedly murdered his pregnant fiancée, Osasu Isaac, and her three-year-old daughter, Miracle, in Benin City.
The gruesome incident occurred on March 16 in Idiangbona Street, Ovbiogoe Community, following a heated argument between the couple. Neighbors, accustomed to their frequent disputes, did not anticipate the quarrel would turn deadly.
According to a resident who spoke anonymously, the couple had lived together for over three years, with Nnamdi moving in with Osasu and her daughter from a previous relationship. Their traditional wedding was set for March 29, followed by a church ceremony on April 6.
“She was so excited about the wedding and her pregnancy. No one thought their argument would lead to such a horrific outcome,” the source said. “When things went quiet, we assumed they had resolved their differences. But after two days, a terrible smell started coming from their room, and we had to alert
