Train crushes man to death in Oshodi Lagos State

A train in the Oshodi area of Lagos State on Saturday crushed a 50-year-old man identified as Emmanuel to death.
Fusion Chronicles gathered that the incident happened near Arena Shopping Mall in Oshodi.
The deceased’s sister, whose name remains unknown, revealed to the police that she received a phone call around 9 a.m. informing her that her older brother had been fatally knocked by the train.
Benjamin Hundeyin, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Command, confirmed the incident in a statement, stating that the Mosafejo Division was informed around 1:33 p.m., and a team of detectives were immediately sent to the scene.
The police PPRO also confirmed that the case has been transferred to the Railway Police Command in Ebute Metta for further investigation.
