President Donald Trump made it clear he’s serious about the idea of serving a third term, despite constitutional limits. When asked whether he was joking about the possibility, he firmly replied, “No, no, I’m not joking.”

Trump claimed his popularity among Republicans is at an all-time high, boasting poll numbers in the high 70s. “A lot of people would like me to do that,” he said, referring to a potential third term. However, he acknowledged that it’s still early in his current administration.

Pressed on how he could legally return to the White House for a third term, Trump cryptically responded, “There are methods which you could do it, as you know.” When given a hypothetical scenario in which a President Vance could take office and later transfer power back to him, Trump acknowledged it as one possibility but added, “There are others, too. There are others.” He declined to elaborate further.

Despite the presidency being considered one of the toughest jobs, Trump expressed that he enjoys working. When asked if he would pass the torch to Vice President Vance, he said it was “too early … to even think about it.”
