U.S. Lawmaker Raises Red Flag: “Nigeria Has Become the Most Dangerous Nation for Christians

On November 14, 2025, U.S. Representative Nancy Mace issued a strong warning, stating that Nigeria has emerged as “one of the most lethal places in the world for Christians.”
She criticized the previous U.S. administration for removing Nigeria from the “Country of Particular Concern” (CPC) list and praised President Donald Trump for placing the nation back on the list and pledging decisive measures.
In a message posted on X, Mace wrote:
“Nigeria is now the world’s most perilous country for Christians. 5 million people displaced. Over 9,100 churches destroyed. More than 850 Christians still held hostage.”
