Unknown gunmen kidnap Akpabio in Plateau state
A staff of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Kate Akpabio, has been kidnapped by some unknown gunmen in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Our source said the female staff of the FRSC was abducted on Monday, May 26.
He also noted that the security operatives have assured the general public that a rescue operation for the abducted FRSC staff was underway.
According to our corespondent, the incident occurred at about 5.30 am.
He stated that the yet-to- be-identified gunmen invaded the Rantya community in Jos and abducted the officer, “Army troops and other security agencies were mobilised to the scene upon receiving the distress call.
“A preliminary investigation confirmed that the assailants took the victim to an unknown destination before security forces arrived,” he added.
