Vice President Kashim Shettima Returns to Abuja After Umrah in Saudi Arabia

 

Vice President Kashim Shettima returns to Abuja after performing the lesser hajj in Saudi Arabia. Shettima’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Communications, Stanley Nkwocha, announces his return in a statement.

Shettima offers prayers for Nigeria’s peace and stability at the Holy Mosque of Makkah. He prays for peace to prevail in Nigeria and for social harmony. Shettima also prays for Nigeria’s leadership, from federal to local government levels.

Before his spiritual journey, Shettima represents President Bola Tinubu at a facility commissioning in Dubai, UAE. Shettima commissions a $315m oil production and storage facility owned by Oriental Energy Limited.

Shettima spends 61 days abroad, visiting 12 countries on unique trips. He accumulates over 200 flight hours, visiting countries like Italy, Russia, and China.
