VIDEO: Explosion at Edo Filling Station Injures Several, Damages Vehicle During CNG Refueling

An explosion occurred at the NIPCO filling station in Aduwawa, Edo State, when a car powered by Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) exploded during refuelling. A video obtained by *Fusion Chronicles Nigeria* captured the aftermath of the incident.

Eyewitnesses described a chaotic scene, with bystanders rushing to help the injured. Several people were reportedly hurt and taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.

There has been no official confirmation of any fatalities.

The explosion also caused damage to several vehicles in line for refuelling.

When contacted, Edo State Police spokesperson Moses Yamu said, “I have not received that information yet. I will find out and get back to you.”
