A tragic incident has occurred in
Fujeregi village, Gbako Local Government Area, Niger State on Thursday, where a man, Muhammad Ma’aba, was allegedly killed by a group led by Alhaji Yikangi from Chikan village.
A long-standing dispute over Fatima Suleiman, who was previously married to Alhaji Yikangi and had been divorced three times.
Ma’aba was ambushed on his way to Saganuwa.The attack was led by Alhaji Yikangi, who opposed Ma’aba’s relationship with Fatima.Ma’aba was severely beaten and fell into a coma.

The Niger State Police Command has confirmed the incident. SP Wasiu Abiodun, the police spokesperson, stated that investigations are ongoing.
He Reaffirmed that police are working to arrest all those involved in the crime.
