Why Wike Revoked Property Belonging to PDP

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has revoked property titles belonging to individuals and organizations with outstanding ground rent arrears of ten or more years.

A notable case involves the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), whose land title in the central area was revoked due to unpaid ground rent totaling N7.6 million from 2006 to 2025. The FCTA maintains that only the title for land in the central area was affected, and that a property in Wuse Zone 5 does not belong to the PDP.
