Wife of Missing Anambra Billionaire Cries Out, Demands Action from Authorities

Mrs. Tochukwu Ezemma, the wife of missing Anambra billionaire and estate developer Benjamin Ezemma, has pleaded with security operatives to intensify efforts to find her husband, who was abducted on November 12, 2024. Known as BigBen and the Managing Director of Dubai Estate, Awka, Ezemma has been missing for over two months.

In an emotional statement, Mrs. Ezemma expressed frustration over the handling of the case, accusing the state government of indifference. “I can no longer be quiet. It’s been over two months of extreme torture for me, my children, and the entire family. I ask again: Where is my husband and the father of my three innocent children? What exactly is the problem?”

She suggested that her husband’s disappearance might be linked to a business dispute and questioned why no significant action had been taken. “They claim the abduction of my husband is related to a business dispute. My husband is not a nobody in Anambra State. He has made a great impact through his entrepreneurial spirit, and his disappearance deserves the attention of the state government.”

Mrs. Ezemma further implored the public to hold authorities accountable, raising concerns about the lack of investigation into those connected to her husband’s last meeting. “How can someone be abducted from a meeting with known people, yet nothing is done because they’re highly connected?”

Describing her husband as a visionary entrepreneur committed to empowering youths and boosting the local economy, she called for justice. “Consider my one-year-old child who doesn’t even know her father. Find my husband for me,” she urged.

Mrs. Ezemma also criticized the lack of clarity from security agencies, stating, “The DSS said the case is in court and advised us to get a lawyer to follow up, but we need to know: Who is the case against? What are the charges?”

Appealing to the people of Anambra, she warned, “It is BigBen today; it could be anyone tomorrow.” She urged authorities to act swiftly to bring answers and justice to her family.
