Wizkid, Davido Shine at 2025 NAACP Awards

Nigerian music icons Wizkid and Davido emerged victorious at the prestigious 2025 NAACP Awards, adding new accolades to their already impressive careers.

Wizkid secured the award for Best Contemporary Duo or Group with his chart-topping single “Piece of My Heart”bfeaturing Brent Faiyaz. Meanwhile, Davido triumphed in the Best International Song category for his collaboration with Chris Brown on “Hmmm”.

This achievement marks the second time both artists have claimed NAACP awards, following their 2024 win for the hit single “Sensational”.
