
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has officially established its presence in Borno State, with plans to challenge the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections.
FCNN gathered that the party, led by Umar Alkali and Umar Bolori, has vowed to mobilize grassroots support to take over the state and other elective positions.

However,the ADC promises to provide constructive opposition to the APC, citing the current state of unemployment, insecurity, humanitarian crisis, and poverty in Borno and Nigeria as reasons for change.
