This disturbing incident was disclosed in a statement by the spokesman of the command in Osun, Mr Emmanuel Giwa-Alade, on Wednesday.
He said two mortuary attendants, identified as Johnson Daniel (43) and Adetunji Okunade (42), were among those taken into custody.

Giwa-Alade further disclosed that other suspects include Olaniyan Azeez, Balogun Temitope, Oladapo Hammed, Kazeem Rasaq, and Asaka Rauf.
Their arrests were made following a tip-off from a concerned citizen, who reported that Daniel, a mortuary attendant at Ipetu-Ijesa, had been selling the remains of deceased individuals to native doctors.

Authorities have urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities that could harm public safety.
