Yuletide: Police provides watertight security in Churches

The Katsina State Police Command have announced that it has provided m a watertight security deployment to ensure a safe and secure environment for all residents and visitors alike in the state for Christmas celebration.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Abubakar Sadiq, in a statement made available to reporters in Kastina on Tuesday, stated that as part of the initiative, additional adequate number of personnel have been deployed across the command to provide enhanced security coverage focused on strategic locations, including places of worship, event centres, and other public spaces.
According to the spokesperson , “On this note, the command uses this medium to draw the attention of mischief makers, social miscreants, popularly known as “KAURAYE,” and other hoodlums to desist from fermenting trouble before, during, and after Christmas and New Year festivities, as the command, in partnership with other security agencies, is fully prepared to deal decisively with any troublemaker(s) and ensure the security and safety of the lives and property of the inhabitants of the state.
“The command, while wishing all the Christian faithful a merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year, calls on members of the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the nearest police station or make use of the following command’s emergency lines: 08156977777; 0707 272 2539 and 09022209690.”
