The Ehime Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State of Imo State was thrown into panic as there was a gun duel between soldiers and some yet-to-be-identified gunmen in, allegedly leaving scores dead and many injured.

According to eyewitness accounts: “The whole place is on fire, and troops have taken over nearby communities,” adding that following the incident, residents fled in panic amid constant shootings that filled the air, creating a climate of fear and uncertainty.
