Head of Service calls for collaborative efforts to reshape civil service

Mrs Didi Walson-Jack, The Head of Civil Service of the Federal Federation (HoCSF), has called for a collaborative efforts to create a federal civil service that is not only efficient but also forward-thinking and dynamic.
The Head of Civil Service of the Federation said this at a two-day retreat organized by her office for its top management and departmental heads to bring the new Head of the Civil Service of the Federation well informed with a comprehensive brief on the structure, key responsibilities, activities, and challenges of the various offices.
She noted that this calls for setting new goals that will mold the future of the civil service.
In a statement released to reporters on Sunday in Abuja, Eno Olotu, the Director, Communications of the HoCSF in her office, said the retreat was also to devise means to rejuvenate the service for a more robust, dynamic, and efficient service delivery.
However, Mr Raymond Omachi, the Permanent Secretary, Common Services Office (CSO), in his welcome address celebrated the values the HoCSF is bringing on board to pilot the affairs of the service.
