“Why there is High Failure Rate in the 2025 JAMB Examination”_Minister

The Minister of Education,Dr Tunji Alausa,has believed that the high failure rate in the 2025 JAMB exam is a positive sign that anti-cheating measures have been taken by the exam body to eradicate exam malpractice.

 

The Minister attributes the poor performance to reduced cheating due to JAMB’s security protocols.He commends JAMB’s computer-based testing system and security measures for eliminating cheating.

He however contrasts JAMB’s success with WAEC and NECO, implying that they still have work to do in preventing cheating.
