MOAU Senate Approves Second Semester Calendar, Students Resume July 27

The Senate of Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University (MOAU), Makurdi, has approved the academic calendar for the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic session, with students expected to resume on Monday, July 27, 2026.
The approval was granted at the University’s 338th Emergency Senate Meeting held on Friday, July 24, 2026.
According to the approved calendar, registration for the second semester will begin immediately upon resumption and continue until Friday, August 7, 2026.
The university also announced that lectures for undergraduate students will commence on Monday, August 10, while postgraduate students are scheduled to resume on Monday, August 17, 2026.
The University Management directed all returning students to arrive on campus promptly and complete their registration within the stipulated period to ensure a smooth start to academic activities.

It also assured parents, guardians, and the general public that adequate arrangements have been put in place for the successful commencement of the second semester.
Students were urged to comply with the institution’s rules and regulations throughout the semester.
The management added that the approved academic calendar has been made available through the university’s official communication channels for the guidance of staff, students, and members of the public.
