Bishop David Abioye Inaugurates New Ministry

In a significant milestone in his ministerial journey, Bishop David Abioye, the former Vice President of the Living Faith Church Worldwide (Winners Chapel), officially launched his new church on Sunday, naming it the Living Word Conquerors Global Assembly.

The inaugural service, which was streamed live on Facebook and other social media platforms, attracted thousands of viewers and well-wishers from around the globe.

This momentous event followed months after Bishop Abioye’s resignation from his previous position, concluding a notable tenure under Bishop David Oyedepo’s leadership.

During the service, Bishop Abioye emphasized that the establishment of his new church was neither a response to public pressure nor a personal ambition, but rather a divine mandate fulfilling God’s eternal plan.

“The inauguration of this assembly is not in response to people’s demands to start a church,” he asserted.

“It represents the unfolding of God’s eternal purpose, ordained from the foundation of the world, coming to fruition in His appointed time.”

Bishop Abioye outlined the Living Word Conquerors Global Assembly’s commitment to the universal mission of the Church of Jesus Christ, aiming to play a vital role in fulfilling the Great Commission as described in Matthew 28:18-20.

He stated that the church will serve as a spiritual center for transformation, evangelism, and global outreach, firmly grounded in scriptural truth and spiritual empowerment.

The announcement has sparked widespread enthusiasm within the Christian community, with many followers of Bishop Abioye expressing their support through heartfelt messages on social media, thanking him for his unwavering dedication to kingdom service.

His return to active ministry puts an end to months of speculation regarding his future endeavors following retirement, heralding what many believe to be a powerful new chapter in his spiritual leadership.
