Delta Police Apprehend Cultist Attempting To Buy Ak-47

The Delta State Police Command has apprehended a man identified as Amadasu Victor, who admitted to attempting to buy an AK-47 rifle to become the leader of the Vikings Confraternity, a notorious cult group.
The arrest was confirmed by the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, Edafe Bright, in a video posted on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday.
According to Edafe, the suspect was caught while negotiating the purchase of the rifle for ₦1.3 million from kidnappers.
Amadasu confessed that acquiring the weapon was a requirement to assume leadership of the cult group. “I was arrested because I wanted to buy an AK-47,” he said in the video, adding, “I was asked to buy AK-47s because I was meant to be number one in the Vikings.
Reflecting on his life as a cultist, Victor expressed regret, saying, “I feel very sad. Now I know I am actually nothing… no gain at all.” He disclosed that he had been involved with the cult group for six years.
