El-Rufai Sends Message To Political Rivals, Discloses Reasons For Meeting Buhari, Atiku

Former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has assured his political rivals that there’s no need to worry about Atiku Abubakar’s recent visit to former President Muhammadu Buhari.

El-Rufai disclosed that the visit was purely for post-Sallah greetings and not related to the 2027 elections.The visit was about unity and brotherhood, not politics, according to El-Rufai.

El-Rufai jokingly stated that since he and the others are now “politically irrelevant,” they simply went to pray and enjoy lunch with Buhari.

El-Rufai recently left the APC and joined the SDP, where he is working to form a coalition to challenge President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 election.
