Former Kogi Governor Yahaya Bello Weds Fourth Wife in Quiet Ceremony

Former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has taken a fourth wife in a discreet wedding ceremony held over the weekend in the Kubwa area of the Federal Capital Territory.
The new bride, 23-year-old Hiqma, was quietly welcomed into the Bello household without fanfare or public celebration.
The marriage was confirmed via an Instagram post on Sunday by Bello’s third wife, Hafiza, who extended a warm welcome to Hiqma.
“Alhamdulillah, our family just got a little bigger and more loving! A warm welcome to our new family member, Mrs. Hiqma Yahaya Bello! May Allah bless our union and fill our home with love, peace, and Barakah. Amin!” she wrote.
Bello, 50, who governed Kogi State from 2016 to 2024, is already married to Amina Oyiza, Rashidat, and Hafiza.
His first wife, Amina, a lawyer and philanthropist, is the founder of the Hayat Foundation, which supports vulnerable populations in Kogi State.

The former governor is currently facing legal proceedings over alleged money laundering involving more than N80 billion, as charged by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
