Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, the Head of the Civil Service has released new date for the 2024 accreditation/Promotion Interview/Examination for eligible officers on Salary Grade Levels 06-13.
The HoS office in a statement, said the promotion process, which is an annual event for civil servants, was initially scheduled for earlier date in the year but due to logistical adjustments, the accreditation process has now been changed to take place from Monday, 2nd December, to Thursday, 5th December 2024.
The statement emphasized that the accreditation will be conducted across six designated centres nationwide, ensuring broader accessibility for candidates.
These centres are strategically placed to cater to a large number of civil servants spread across the country.
The promotion examination which is to take place on Saturday, 7th December 2024, will have officers on Salary Grade Levels 06-13 undergo the rigorous process that could pave the way for their career advancement.
Mrs. Walson-Jack draw attention to the importance of this examination for the professional growth of civil servants and restated that all eligible candidates must ensure they attend the accreditation process within the specified dates.
The change in the timetable also allows for better coordination and smoother execution of the promotion process which is a crucial aspect for enhancing efficiency and productivity within the Nigerian civil service.
