A Labour Party (LP) delegation, led by Abia State Governor Dr. Alex Otti, met with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Abuja on Wednesday.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss key developments within the party and present a Supreme Court judgment related to the party’s leadership.

The LP delegation submitted a Certified True Copy of a Supreme Court judgment concerning the party’s leadership.However,the meeting aimed to promote clarity, understanding, and alignment with INEC’s processes.
INEC reaffirmed its commitment to neutrality, transparency, and upholding the rule of law.
The LP delegation was led by Governor Dr. Alex Otti, and were received by INEC’s Acting Chairman, Mr. Sam Olumekun, and other National Commissioners.
