Senator Alli commiserates Makinde over brother’s death

Senator Sharafadeen Alli, representing Oyo South Senatorial District, has commiserated Governor Seyi Makinde and the entire Makinde family over the passing of Engr. Sunday Makinde, the governor’s eldest brother, who died at the age of 65.

Senator Alli in a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas, described the late Engr. Makinde as a humble and accomplished individual who made significant contributions to his family and society during his lifetime.

The lawmaker noted that losing a loved one, especially a sibling, is always a painful experience and noted that the deceased’s legacy of hard work and dedication to humanity will always be remembered.

“I extend my deepest condolences to Governor Seyi Makinde, his family, and everyone mourning Engr. Sunday Makinde.

“May the Almighty grant the family the strength to bear this irreparable loss and grant the departed eternal rest.”

However, he prayed that God would comfort the bereaved family and continue to uphold them during this difficult period.
