Why Kogi LGA Chairmen,Councillors Endorsed Governor Ododo for Second Term

Chairmen of the 21 Local Government Areas together with the Forum of Councillors of the 239 electoral wards in Kogi State have officially endorsed Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for a second term in office.
FCNN gathered that the endorsement followed a motion by the Chairman of Olamaboro Local Government Area, Hon. William Ameh, and seconded by the Chairperson of the Forum of Councillors, Obaromi Comfort Olufunke from Kabba Bunu local government area and was unanimously accepted by all 21 council chairmen and 239 ward councilors.
This declaration of support took place on the sidelines of a three-day induction course currently ongoing in Lokoja for elected local government officials and top finance and administrative officers from the 21 local government areas.

The Chairmen cited Governor Ododo’s unifying leadership style and his unwavering commitment to grassroots development signifying a strong and united grassroots backing for Governor Ododo’s continued leadership.
They highlighted his administration’s strategic investments in agriculture, education, health, solid minerals development, women and youth empowerment as key achievements justifying the call for his reelection for a second term.
The leader of the council reaffirmed that the Ododo-led administration has delivered the dividends of democracy across communities, ensuring that governance is felt at the grassroots level in all the places in the state.
