Zone A Leaders Fight Senator 313 Over Statements in Senate

Political tensions have escalated in Niger State as leaders and residents of Zone A have strongly condemned remarks allegedly made by Senator Sani Musa 313, who represents Zone B in the National Assembly.
According to reports circulating on social media, the senator allegedly urged the Federal Government to ignore the Baro-Katcha-Agaie federal road project, claiming that it would be a waste of government resources.
The controversial statement, first reported by Crusaders Radio, has sparked outrage among the people of Zone A, who argue that the road is crucial for economic activities and public safety. The highway, which connects major towns in the region, has been plagued by frequent tanker and trailer accidents, leading to loss of lives and properties.
In reaction to the senator’s remarks, several Zone A stakeholders took to social media to express their displeasure. Muhammad Abubakar Wali labeled the senator an “enemy of Zone A and Nupe brethren,” stating that his position reflects a broader agenda against the region. Another prominent voice, Ahmed M. Ndayebo, condemned what he called “Gwarawa hatred towards Nupe,” arguing that it is time for a leadership shift in Niger State.
“This is unacceptable,” Ndayebo wrote. “After the eight years of Governor Muhammad Bago, the next leader must come from Zone A. There is no justification for neglecting a key federal road that affects thousands of lives.”
