Rep. Abdullahi Ahmed Secures Federal Jobs for 175 Constituents in Katsina

In a major effort to combat unemployment, the Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Interior, Abdullahi Aliyu Ahmed, has facilitated permanent and pensionable employment for 175 constituents in the Musawa/Matazu Federal Constituency of Katsina State.

According to a statement by his Special Assistant on Media, Sardauna Francis, the beneficiaries have been placed in key federal agencies, including the Federal Fire Service, Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigeria Police Force, Nigerian Army, Federal Medical Centres, and Federal Teaching Hospitals.

Providing a breakdown of the recruitments, Francis noted that 42 individuals joined the Federal Fire Service, 18 were enlisted into the Nigeria Immigration Service, and over 100 secured positions in the Nigeria Police Force and Nigerian Army.

Additionally, 15 beneficiaries were employed at Federal Teaching Hospitals and Medical Centres nationwide.

While presenting appointment letters to some of the successful candidates, Ahmed emphasized his dedication to reducing unemployment and poverty in his constituency. He described the initiative as a significant step toward economic empowerment, stating that it was purely a humanitarian effort with no political motivation.

“This initiative is aimed at improving the socio-economic conditions of the people of Musawa/Matazu. My goal is to ensure that graduates from my constituency either secure stable employment or gain empowerment through skills acquisition programs,” he stated.

Ahmed reiterated his commitment to creating job opportunities and empowering young people, ensuring they contribute meaningfully to national development. He urged the beneficiaries to embrace their new roles with dedication and professionalism for effective service delivery.
