eTranzact Partners LASEPA to Champion ESG and Financial Inclusion at Lagos Environmental Summit

At the forefront of environmental advocacy and financial technology, eTranzact International and the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) have renewed their commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles and financial inclusion during the 2025 Inter Tertiary Institutions Environmental Summit in Lagos.

The summit, sponsored by eTranzact, brought together thought leaders, students, and stakeholders to spotlight the intersection of sustainability, education and economic development. One of the event’s highlights was a student debate themed: “Plastic Pollution and the Challenges of Just Transition in a Developing Economy—Lagos as a Case Study.”

During the summit, eTranzact introduced three key digital products designed to transform financial access and transaction security:

PocketMoni – a mobile wallet redefining everyday banking;

Credo– an all-in-one platform for MSMEs enabling payment acceptance and operational efficiency;

BillOn – a marketplace for seamless bill payments, including student-related expenses.

Representing the Managing Director/CEO Niyi Toluwalope, Adedayo Adejokun reiterated eTranzact’s dual focus on environmental responsibility and financial empowerment.

He said:

“… I believe this gathering is more than a contest of intellect—it is a platform where bold thinking meets realities. The theme, “Balancing Environmental Challenges and its Impact on the Lagos Economy,” could not be more relevant. In Lagos and in the world, environmental pressures are reshaping how economies function, how businesses operate and how communities survive.

“We believe true innovation is not only about solving today’s problems—it’s about doing so sustainably, inclusively, and with foresight. That belief informs our business model, our technology, and our CSR agenda—particularly our focus on education.”

General Manager of LASEPA, Dr. Babatunde Ajayi, also spoke on the agency’s drive to involve young people in shaping the state’s environmental future.

He said:

“Such awareness would help the younger generation to be knowledgeable on issues on how to protect the environment.”
