The Nollywood community has been thrown into mourning following the death of Shina, the only son of veteran Yoruba actress, Peju Ogunmola Omobolanle, and her husband, popular comic actor Sunday Omobolanle, widely known as Papi Luwe.
The tragic incident occurred yesterday while the 56-year-old actress was reportedly on a movie set. Shina’s passing has left the family and industry in deep sorrow.
His death comes only months after he successfully completed his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme — a milestone that had brought immense joy to his mother.
The heartbreaking news was first announced by actor Odunlade Adekola, whose post prompted an outpouring of condolences from colleagues, fans, and well-wishers.
