Afrobeats star Adekunle Gold has revealed that his wife, Simi, and their daughter, Adejare, are his greatest priorities, emphasizing that he cannot afford to fail them.
Speaking on the NotJustOk podcast, the “FUJI” hitmaker explained that while he could endure setbacks in his music career, failing as a father or a man is not an option.
Adekunle said his determination to give Adejare a better life than he had growing up inspired songs like My Love Is The Same.
He said:“All I want is to do more for my daughter because I can’t afford to bring her into the kind of life I grew up living. It has to be way better, and that’s why I’m working so hard.
