Operatives of the Port Harcourt Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested 37 suspected internet fraudsters in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The suspects were apprehended on Friday, August 1, 2025, at various locations across the city following credible intelligence on their alleged involvement in internet-related crimes.

Items recovered from them include several vehicles of different brands and models, mobile phones, and laptops containing incriminating materials.
According to the EFCC, the suspects will be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations.
