NLC Closes Mines Ministry in Protest Over Two-Decade Unlawful Dismissal

On Thursday morning, the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) took action by shutting down the Federal Ministry of Mines and Steel Development in Abuja.

This protest was triggered by the ministry’s failure to comply with a court ruling that mandated the reinstatement of Comrade Victor Ekpaha, an employee who has been unlawfully dismissed for over 20 years.
