President Bola Tinubu has ordered the immediate arrest of those responsible for the recent massacre in Yelewata community, Benue State, which claimed over 100 lives.
The President directed the security chiefs, led by the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, to ensure the perpetrators are brought to justice.
Tinubu made the remarks during a town hall meeting with political leaders in Benue State, where he also urged leaders to put aside differences and collaborate to restore peace in the region.

The President proposed the establishment of a leadership committee to devise a lasting peace strategy and offered to invest in peace efforts.
However, Tinubu visited victims of the attack receiving treatment at the Benue State University Teaching Hospital.
