VeryDarkMan Awarded ₦10 Million by Police After Rescuing Shooting Victim in Edo State

Popular activist and social commentator, VeryDarkMan (VDM), has been hailed a national hero after he reportedly saved the life of a driver who was shot during a kidnap attempt in Edo State on Tuesday.

According to eyewitness accounts, VDM was traveling when he came across the scene of the attack. The victim, who had already been gunned down by suspected kidnappers, was left bleeding and helpless. In a courageous move, VDM rushed to the driver’s aid, carried him, and personally transported him to the hospital for urgent medical attention.

Sources revealed that VDM was so determined to help that he nearly pursued the kidnappers into the bush, but was restrained by onlookers who feared for his safety.

In recognition of his bravery, the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) is reportedly set to award him the sum of ₦10 million. Officers praised his quick response, stating that his actions not only saved a life but also inspired confidence in citizen support against criminality.

Social media has since erupted with praise, with many Nigerians describing VDM as a rare example of courage and humanity in the face of danger.
