NUC Grants Full Accreditation to Three Academic Programmes at IBBUL

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted full accreditation to three academic programmes: Mass Communication, Computer Science and Biology at Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai.
The accreditation exercise was conducted by NUC in October and November 2024.The exercise was carried out in line with Section 10 (1) of the Education (National Minimum Standards and Establishment of Institutions) Act.
The accreditation status is valid for five years.However the university can now launch postgraduate programmes in the accredited disciplines.

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Mohammed Hadi Sulaiman, expressed joy and appreciation to the Visitor of the University, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago, for his support.
He further reiterated the university’s commitment to sustaining academic excellence and meeting national and international academic standards.
