Housing Ministry Reaffirms Commitment to Staff Welfare, Rewards Excellence

The Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development has reaffirmed its dedication to staff welfare and quality service delivery by honouring outstanding personnel.

Minister Musa Dangiwa announced Assistant Chief Administrative Officer, Dr. Bamidele Kogbe, as the ministry’s Staff of the Year, following his recent win of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation’s EPIC (Efficient, Productive, Incorruptible, and Citizen-Centred) Culture Award at the 2025 Civil Service Week in Abuja.

Speaking at a reception held in Kogbe’s honour, Dangiwa described the recognition as a reflection of the ministry’s appreciation for staff who demonstrate unwavering dedication and value-driven service.

He commended Kogbe’s performance, calling him a model public servant whose integrity and work ethic stand out.

“Kogbe’s commitment to excellence makes him deserving of this honour,” the minister said. “We encourage other staff members to emulate his discipline, hard work, and professionalism.”

Responding to the recognition, Dr. Kogbe expressed gratitude and reaffirmed his commitment to national development.

“This year’s Civil Service Week truly reflects our world-class aspirations,” he said. “Receiving the EPIC Award is both a privilege and a responsibility. It’s not merely a badge of honour, but a call to even greater service.”
