DG of FEMD Makes Shocking Statement On Karu Fire Victims

The Federal Capital Territory Emergency Management Department (FEMD) is deeply saddened by a tragic fire at Karu Bridge on the Nyanya-Keffi Road.

The fire, which broke out around 7:14 p.m. on Thursday, resulted in multiple fatalities and the destruction of numerous vehicles. Preliminary investigations point to a CNG-powered open-body trailer as the likely cause.

Injured victims were transported to various hospitals for treatment, including the National Hospital, Asokoro Hospital, State House Clinic, Customs Hospital, and Nyanya General Hospital.
