Bandits have attacked Magajin Wando village,Dandume Local Government Area, Katsina State on Friday night between 11:00PM and midnight, opening fire indiscriminately.
FCNN gathered that Katsina State Community Watch Corps (CWC) repelled the attackers. Bandits later ambushed an evacuation team conveying injured victims to the hospital
CWC vehicle was set ablaze during the encounter, but the Corps managed to bring the injured to safety.

Preliminary investigations suggest the ambush was carried out in revenge for the bandits’ losses during the initial confrontation with security volunteers.
